Performance Highlights

 

Member of Actor's Equity and SAG/AFTRA

 

CAMELOT on Broadway starring Robert Goulet - I was in the chorus and understudied Gueneviere.

 

CATS National Tour - I was a swing and was prepared to do 5 different roles if a performer was sick or on vacation. I did Grizabella (the Memory cat), Demeter, Jellylorum, Rumpleteaser, and Sillabub.

 

The last 20 years I've focused my energies on teaching and directing. Here are the highlights.

 

Teaching

 

My teaching career grew out of a need to find employment while raising my children.  Since then it’s become a passion! I teach voice and piano in my home studio and online.  Some of my students have gone on to college to study voice and/or the performing arts. As a teenager I studied with the renowned soprano Helen Boatwright. In college I studied voice at Fredonia State, and Ithaca College. After studying piano with Wayne Leupold I continued to play piano throughout my career, accompanying professional singers and music groups.  I’m a member of MTNA, Music Teachers National Association.

 

Church Work 

 

Presently I'm Music Director at Yorktown United Methodist Church where I direct the Adult Choir and the Praise Band. I work with the children for the holidays. Previously at St. Columbanus Church, I directed 4 choirs: the Cherub Choir (ages 6, 7 & 8); the Junior Choir (ages 8 - 12); Teen Choir ( ages 12 - 18); and Senior Choir (adults).  I played a state-of-the-art Allen digital organ, 41 ranks.  

 

Artistic and Music Direction

 

Since 2002 I’ve directed, written, choreographed and/or music directed productions ranging from summer camps to high school musicals. See Photos + Videos. Some of the shows include Cinderella, Into the Woods, Give My Regards and Addams Family.
